I can't understand why this book on Amazon got high marks Sick Boys By Clarissa Wild. Could you please tell me that? I love a good starker story that involves a female and two to three guys.  The storyline on this one was not that good and confusing. It's about a girl named Penelope Pen for short who attends a college to find out how her sister or why her sister killed herself. In college, she runs across a group called the Skull and Serpent Club which consist of three guys Felix, Dylan and Alistair. which they all have some kind of angry or crazy issues. The college fears them because of who their parents are. They're the bad boys of the college. The story and characters had me lost because the story never made sense to me in the first place. Maybe it's me? I had to put this book down after chapter five it didn't hold my interest, and the storyline didn't explain things too well. If you have read it, what did you think about it? This was supposed to be a dark read for me, but it ended up being a disappointing one.

What are you reading today? I must say I tried reading Lights Out By Navessa Allen. I got past chapter five and had to put it down. It's about a trauma nurse named Ali who has a mass kink. Her fantasies are based on men who wear masks to bed, but she's hooked on a mask man that goes by the name of Faceless Man. Who posts videos of himself in a mask doing kimky things but to a limit.. The faceless man in the videos has some issues of his own and he avoids the public as much as he can. And there's a reason for it. This is a cat and mouse game, this couple plays a guessing game, who I am and everything. I just couldn't continue on with this book because it was to me about two twenty-somethings playing games with each other. I like my stalker books, but it needs to be a bit more mature than this one. It had a lot of reviews on  Amazon, over 30,000. I could be missing something but I might not be. Not saying the book is a bad read, it's just the story wasn't to my liking and I have read some stories that I have forced myself to continue thinking that it would get better in the middle. This book was not the car. If you have read it. Let me know your thoughts on it.

Funny & Enjoyable Love It!

Talk about your crazy, funny dark story this is the book for you.  The Death Club by Caroline Peckman & Susuan Valenti. It's about a woman named Brooklyn who's insane sheltered and has a past that was unfair to her and made her the way she is now and her three psycho men  Hellfire (Niall), Deadman( Mateo) & AJ(Jack). These men are their own type of crazy but them together make up a crazy ride into a crazy world. The characters are well-developed, dialogue good the bantering is so funny and crazy that you would be rooting for your favorite crazy person. I love me some Deadman and AJ. even the sex scenes in the book just fit right in to the story itself   This is three males to one female story.

Our little Brooklyn who is insane has these men wrapped around her little finger. The way she meets each of them and the story behind them is good. They do some crazy stuff in the book. Which by the way is about 600 pages and this is just book one. You will laugh,talk out loud to them, feel for them and the things they have been through. Root for them in their crazy adventures that match their crazy personalities. Especially Hellfire who's just an asshole to me but yet funny. If you are looking for a good funny crazy book to enjoy this winter, then The Death Club by Caroline Peckman & Susuan Valenti is highly recommended.  This is part of the Deadman Walking series

Monster Trio Books

Can I tell you I love reading monster books. The single ones are cute, but I am drawn to the ones that have a few monsters in them and one woman. Could someone please tell me why monster books always have the same kinda women in them? Like the monsters why can't the women be of a different variety too?  But I found myself reading monster books more than stalker books. But don't get me wrong I like a good stalker book to. So which one is it for you a monster or stalker book and what are you reading now?

Happy 2025 and this year will be a good one for the Dark & Different reader like us. I have been reading some good and not so good stories for you. Which I will share in my upcoming post.  Is it me but after reading a dark or different romance book I need to follow that up with something that's not romance? High Reviews But From Me

Happy Holidays. This book Credence by Penelope Douglas got high marks on amazon. So I  got it to read. It's a dark book. But the story just didn't catch on with me. It's about a 17-year-old girl who goes to live with her father's stepbrother and his two sons in the woods of Denver.  The 17-year-old girl was never really loved by her parents who were in the movie industry. They had her but left her alone to do what she wanted while concentration on their own personal relationship. The girl felt abandoned and alone until she went to stay temporally with her uncle and his sons. They started teaching her how to be a live in the wood among other things. The uncle had issues of his own with his two sons who were in the range of 20 and about 23.

The story was not catching for me, maybe it's me if you have read this book what am I missing. It's a dark romance with taboo issues. So, they say but I could never get to that point. in the book. If you have read it, what are you r thought. Also got anything dark and different you want me to read and review. I'm ready.

Happy Holidays. Today it's a different reading review the book is The Guest With Claws By Ella Maven. This is a cute, funny and enjoyable book.
