                               Hello, My Dark & Different Romance Book Readers

Happy Dark & Different Holiday Weekend. Readers, I'm trying to find Horror Dark Romance books, which seem to be very few. I'm not talking about the vampire, werewolf-type ones. There are plenty of these. I'm talking about the slasher, Jason, Freddy Krueger type of romance. Instead of the crazy monster killing his victims, he uses them in a romantic, not normal way. I have a few romance horror books that I will be reviewing for you. Do you have any that you read and liked? Share them with me, I'm now into the horror dark romance thing, along with my monster and stalker dark romance books. Everything else in the dark romance category is too boring. For me, anyway.  What do you think?

A Different Book Review

Happy Dark & Different April. Today's book review is on Monster Bride by Stasia Black. Which I must say I enjoyed, not only was it a different kind of Monster book, but the story was pretty good. I love the monster in it, and he had brothers that were also monsters.  You know I love a good Monster dark romance book. Here are my thoughts on this book.

This Is Crazy

Happy Dark & Different April. I seem to have missed a convention that was based on all things Dark Romance. There was  author signing, dances, lectures, you know, all the stuff that goes on at a convention. The convention was held in Boston and Philadelphia. It was about 7 months ago.  Anyway, I heard about the convention on YouTube, and here's why

Is it me, but when you read a dark romance book, it's for entertainment reading. These characters in the books are not real, and for people to think this convention was supposed to be a sex convention where you lived out your romance fantasies with a total stranger without their consent was even crazier. Do we not know the difference between real and fantasy anymore?  What do you think?

What The???

What the heck did I try to read? First off, I'm talking about the book Sinister Legacy by Harleight Beck. She was one of the authors who wrote Chokehold, which was good(Review to follow later). Anyway, I got another one of her books since Chokehold was so good. This book Sinsiter Legacy, is about a woman, or really 16-17-year-old girl, whose father is a serial killer and is sentenced to be executed in two months. This girl is still in high school, dates the high school quarterback, who she finds boring. Has a best friend and a reputation for being a serial killer's daughter.  But the crazy part is, before you even get to chapter five, her best friend is sleeping with her boring boyfriend. The girl herself is sleeping with her stepfather and liking it. The main male character in the book makes no sense.   There is no solid story, no real character development, no nothing. (These are just my personal opinions of the book)  I couldn't even get pass chapter five, it was horrible. I read a lot of dark romance book and this one was really not worth my time.  I can't understand why the Amazon reviews were so high. Were they not reading the same book I was? The story didn't flow or even make sense. If you have read this book, what did you think about it?   Hopefully, next time I'll have a better book to tell you about. Almost forget this book was supposed to be a dark horror romance book.
